Why have a Maintenance Contract?

As with any product, over time parts become worn and may need replacing. Similar to a car, your equipment should be regularly serviced to tighten and recalibrate essential components.

The lifetime costs can be reduced with regular planned preventative maintenance, and large expensive bills can be avoided.

Your Warranty

When taking up a contact with Electro Automation you will have both peace of mind that we will attend within your guaranteed response time and the confidence that our directly employed multi-skilled engineers will complete repairs to the highest standard.

Health and Safety

European and British safety standards recommend that automatic equipment must be serviced at regular intervals by an authorised technician. This applies from the date of installation with the first service and safety inspection at six months and every six months thereafter for a commercial property and annually for a residential property.

If a fault is found which affects the safe operation of the equipment, it should be switched off and made safe. Use of the equipment should not be reinstated until repairs have been undertaken by an authorised technician.

Response Time

Both out ‘Service Only’ and 'Preventative Maintenance' contracts come with a guaranteed response time of 48 hours, but will usually be seen within 24 hours.

Contract holders will always have priority and other target times can be negotiated.

This applies to equipment less than one year old and is designed to compliment your warranty promise. It includes the following:

    • Manned 24 hour 365 day callout service
    • Priority response for an onsite engineer (target usually within 24 hours)
    • Two pre-planned service visits (for commercial) One pre-planned service (for residential)
    • Unlimited 24 hour access by telephone to our technical support engineers
    • 10% discount off all parts required
    • 20% discount off additional labour if required

Designed to give you the peace of mind that you deserve. Electro Automation will service your equipment and as well as everything in the ‘Service Only Contract’ offers:

One free of charge emergency callout (if required) for any problems e.g. damage, vandalism or misuse
