Regarded by many as Ireland’s premier automation specialist, Electro Automation Limited have built their reputation on providing an enviable combination of quality equipment supported by exceptional technical after sales service.

Well-known in the marketplace for their core product range, which includes automatic gates, automatic doors, access control systems, traffic control barriers and specialist parking equipment, the company are continuing to add to their portfolio even during these challenging times.

The company have just signed a European-wide distribution agreement with KBB Doors who are based in Beijing in China.

“KBB Doors are China’s largest revolving door manufacturer and the quality of their products are superb,” explained Jim Fleming, Electro Automation’s Director in Northern Ireland. “As well as product excellence we concentrate heavily on the technical support that we provide for our customers,” continued Jim. “We support everything we do with a 24-hour, seven-days a week service, all year round.” The company are also launching another new product called the Bay Defender.

“This is a patented device that is designed to control the abuse of parking within allocated disabled parking bays,” said Jim. This new product falls very much within the company’s Intelligent Traffic Systems portfolio, which is a growing part of the company’s business.

We have completed a large ITS contract on the Westlink in Belfast that classifies the number and types of vehicle using this important arterial route,” said Jim. “Our ITS products are also being increasingly used in various locations such as shopping centre car parks. It’s innovation that has driven the growth of our business over the last 25 years and it’s our aim to continue being at the forefront of our sectors,” said Jim.

Office Manager Trish McVeigh has made a number of important changes to ensure that the office increases efficiency, while Service Manager Craig McVeigh has installed the latest vehicle tracking systems within all the company vans. Craig says “Our clients demand rapid service responses. By using vehicle tracking technology we can ensure that the closest engineer is tasked to attend site immediately. The system can also provide us with accurate information when and for how long an engineer was on site. This can result in savings for our clients and provides excellent reports.”
