Fairhill Shopping Centre, Ballymena is home to over 50 stores under one roof and is open seven days a week. It is one of Northern Ireland’s busiest venues and has a combination of controlled parking environments, with space up to 1,100 cars.

This shopping centre has different combinations of parking environments, including contract parking as well as revenue generating parking for the shopping centre. The car parks are on several levels and include surface, multi-storey and rooftop.

Electro Automation and Zeag were chosen to control this busy site after a very detailed analysis that compared several of the main equipment suppliers and concentrated on system features, whole life cost, reliability, equipment lifespan, availability of service and user friendliness of the system. There were several deciding factors which tipped the scales in the favour of Electro Automation. The use of powder-coated stainless steel for all peripherals was an important one as this ensures rust-free longevity of the equipment along with the 24/7 standard availability of technical support.

Another deciding factor was our large range of Maintenance Contracts. After studying them in detail, Fairhill Shopping Centre felt that a Reactive Preventative Maintenance Contract would be best suited to their needs and budget. This contract offers unlimited 24 hour access by telephone to our Technical Support engineers to diagnose the issue remotely. This ensures their system is kept running 24 hours per day. It also offers peace of mind that we will attend their break-down within a guaranteed response time as our Maintenance Contract holders receive first priority.

Once our engineers have completed the service, electronic versions of reports can be emailed directly to the client
