Instead of simply requiring a key to open a door at a business premises, these days, many will have integrated access control systems that require a passcode, keyfob or ID card in order to allow access.
Musgrave House
With standalone offices and private medical consulting rooms inside a stunningly refurbished landmark building, Musgrave House is home to some of the finest private medical consulting facilities in Northern Ireland. Located in Belfast City, adjacent to Musgrave Park Hospital, the facilities have been designed to be as accessible as possible with free parking, including disabled parking available on site. Access to the site is controlled by automatic gate systems designed, installed and commissioned by Electro Automation.
Following discussions with the project architects, Electro created an EasySpec template specifically for this contract. This ensures that all tenders were using the same equipment, and that when the job was completed, the clients would have exactly what was required. It was an excellent example of how the EasySpec system works. In this case automatic bi-parting sliding gates secure the site totally during out of hours periods, with access only available to principals and those who are granted authority. To ensure safety and add convenience, remote transmitters are used which allows the user to stay within their vehicles. A time control system opens and closes the premises automatically and safety each day for public access, while an intercom system can also allow remote control for outside hours. The system has proven to be a reliable secure means of controlling access to this important site.
